Hardie rough sawn trim Board is a fiber cement trim designed to mimic the look of real wood trim with less maintenance, better wear and a long life. Hardie rough sawn trim has a classic, rustic woodgrain appearance making it ideal for exteriors where an authentic Dutch wood siding look is desired. Provides the warm, natural character of wood trim with the durability of fiber cement. The Hardie trim board is Engineered for Climate and designed to hold up to the changing weather conditions in the environment where it is installed. Use for all trim applications including the band board of a siding wall, door trim, window trim and corners. Hardie trim 4/4 boards also work to construct light blocks, column wraps and decorative scrolls. Noncombustible trim complies with ASTM E136, does not burn and will not attract insects and pests including woodpeckers and termites. HZ5 formulated house siding is made to withstand extreme temperature variations, snow, ice, freezing temperatures and hail. Board is pre-primed using a primer with a green hue allowing for maximum paint adhesion on the jobsite. Paint it any color within 180-days of installation using an acrylic water-based exterior house paint.
